Director Mike Gurney has over 40 years experience in the specialised and competitive field of plumbing, gas and heating services.

Mike set up GlowZone to service the exacting demands of the growing number of Agencies and Landlords who wanted a quick, reliable, and highly competent service that was also very good value. In time, discerning domestic customers too discovered the advantages of choosing GlowZone.

Over the last 10 years, we have grown to become one of the most highly respected companies in its field, both in Brighton and throughout East and West Sussex. Today, GlowZone is still a forward-looking, highly efficient company that specialise in the installation, service and repairs of all gas appliances and heating control systems.

Speed and reliability of service

We appreciate you don’t want to be tied down all day waiting for an engineer who might not even turn up. Our bespoke established computer system is specifically tailored to ensure this doesn't happen. We normally respond to emergencies within one hour, at no extra charge and less urgent appointments are arranged in two-hour time slots, where we can call ahead prior to attending so you can get on with your day.

Customer Care

It is a fundamental rule that our customers are given impartial advice to the best of our knowledge. Our engineers will always let you know if they believe it’s uneconomical to repair an old or badly-installed appliance or system. Our customers know that our after sales service is of the highest quality and that all our work is covered by a minimum statutory 12-month guarantee.

GlowZone employ full time apprentices who receive on the job training alongside day release training provided by the Steve Willis Training & Assessment Centre. All of our plumbers, service engineers and installers are fully employed by GlowZone. Unlike our competitors, we do not outsource any work to third parties or sub contract so we can guarantee you excellent service at all times. We only employ the highest quality engineers and office personnel and achieve this by rewarding our staff with good working conditions, pay and benefits.
